Does anyone know which states gave Bush 11 million extra votes over 2000?

Was it a small increase in all 50 states and thus spread around?

Or were his increased votes concentrated in a few states?

If it is the latter, this gives us a good place to look for election fraud.

Sorry if this is old news, but I don't know how to look these things up easily and you all are such a great resource of knowledge.

1. yea...can't tell ya specifically

but the shift from exit polls percentage wise could be used to figure that out...i'm betting it was atleast that large given the dramatic shifts in some states.

He got a majority of his new votes from something like 11 states including Texas, California, and New York. If you can do a search you can probably find the thread.

5. Texas? I don't have the numbers, but it seems likely.

Here in Harris County (Houston), we've had electronic voting since 2002. I believe Austin went electronic that year as well & it has spread. Back in 2002, many were surprised that Conyers became Senator. His Democratic opponent was a moderate African American who had been a popular mayor of Dallas.

Would Texas have "gone blue" without electronic voting? I doubt it. But it would be a great place to pad the "mandate."

3. well, the south and anti-gay marriage evangelicals

probably gave Bush some kind of "peak performance" in the Popular vote, in addition to incumbency, 9/11, and the then-new bin Laden video. War thinking may have increased his votes among various minority groups, especially among the males in those groups, versus what Gore had been getting.
It's hard to see how that would add up to 11 million votes, though. It could be into the millions, though, I guess, over the whole country.
Bush did a good job of associating Kerry with the gay marriage props around the country.
