|
The hypocrisy astounds me...McClellan says he is glad people were HELD ACCOUNTABLE at CBS so that this kind of thing doesn't happen again! Who the H--- has been held accountable for anything in the * administration...9-11, TORTURE, No WMD...and the list goes on and on and on!!!!!

the other is in charge of bilking -- I mean, administering -- Medicare and Medicaid, an old Bush family hobby.
They're from TX and I'd love to get the goods on them.

...like striking a police officer. Once that happens the Bush administration can claim unlimited authority to deal with decent and critics. So they will keep pressing the limits of outrage.

If you don't respond, they get away with the distortion and benefit
If you do respond (taking the bait) they have begun to control you and benefit.
One of the most trusty mechanisms this mafia uses to control national discourse. And it seems they are perfecting it, using it against any one who opposes them or might oppose them.

Who was CBS trying to LIE to?
Was Bush not AWOL? Did the Secretary not say that everything in the memo was true?
If I am not mixed up, CBS was reporting the news, with as many sources as possible,
The ones that should be held accountable is ROVE and GWB who tricked the media whores into bagging on Kerry instead of putting the spotlight on the AWOL Druggie.

That the only thing not 'considered' was the anti-Bush history of the source..but everything else was true. How did it get SO distorted when Dan Rather had to take the fall????

| 19. I recall sec said memo was similar, but not the one shown. |
|
The memo was somehow recreated and the secretary seeing it realized it was not her typed memo -- somehow. (Secretaries can be good at remembering exact form.)
But, she did recall typing a similar memo, about Bush, saying about the same thing.
So, I still cannot be certain if the memo was discredited by the secretary and the secretary only. But, CBS is being blamed for not researching the memo sufficiently considering the memo's dubious anti-Bush person source -- in light of the secretary's assertion that the memo was not the one she had typed.

because he knows he got paid more than Armstrong.
Armstrong got chump change.
Matthews acts like his meds make him change his mind from segment to segment.
His statement tonight , IMO, was a signal to the WH that if they try to make him a fall guy he will play hardball with them.
HA HA HA,they would put him on a small plane with Armstrong for an exclusive interview and the rest would be history.

whom are they going to arrest? Rather?
No, there were no arrests. Not going to be any, either. There is no criminal investigation going on. The only thing they could have charged anyone with is forging official documents, and that would be hard to prove, with no source of documents identified.

I think the poster is saying the wrong people were held accountable.
The only other explanation is that the poster did not check their facts.
