I can't stand to watch tomorrow. Having ITunes, I put together my own little mix of music to help me cope with the election. I want to share it with all of you who are in need of a little closure. This will help a little. Wish I could post the actual clips of songs, but you will have to manage with going to ITunes for yourself.

Hope it makes sense.

22. Bobby Darrin gave up the lounge act and lounge singer life style

to do something more with his life and his music. He wanted to make a difference and he began writing folk music - anti war songs.

Unfortunately for the world, he died young and is not really known for his folk music. :cry: I love the guy - the "lounge" music and the folk music. :loveya:

I am hesitant to go to the movie about him, I am not sure the "star" can adequately depict the man and his talents.

I heard Rufus Wainright's version on the radio one morning and it actually sent shivers down my spine. I haven't heard Jeff Buckley's version. I would love to hear that.

3. I stopped watching last weekend

OK, I'm a pussy; but, I can't bare it. DU and AAR, teamed with funny DVD's (has been and will continue to be for the next little while) hopefully will keep me sane. My prayers will be for the protestors tomorrow in DC!

you can create an iMix of songs that you bought from the Apple Music store from that list.

33. Saw the IMix, that was great. I don't know how to direct people to it

though, since you get an error when you search for the title. I also realized that in general, the songs represent the election in general. War, John, Sadness, Thankfulness. It all could be taken several ways. I think the "I Hope You Get What You Deserve" song might confuse a Bushie!

They played it on my local station first thing in the morning November 3, and I felt it was a message. It's made me cry ever since.
