Death of Democracy report from New Orleans

Pardon my excitement, and the fact I don't have a way to post photos at this point--writing on a laptop from our hotel room to tell you the NOLA protest was a HUGE success with by our estimates 2000 people at the peak. People kept joining in along the way, 2 jazz bands and an Indian drum "corps" played as we marched, workers in the shops along Decatur St came out and cheered us on, joined in with insturments, women came out and gave us free pralines! People cheering from balconies, and hanging out of uppe-level windows taking photos, OMG!! This was a HUGE SUCCESS!!! :) Off to a post-orbital party! :):toast: NEVER GIVE UP!!!!

the campy costumes, signs, and props were just fabulous...inspiring speakers, INCREDIBLE comaraderie!! the party continues!! Laissez les bon temps roulet!!!
