Motorcade Runs a Gaunlet of Protestors-- The Austrailan

WASHINGTON: Protesters waving signs reading "Worst President Ever", "The American Nightmare" and "Buck Fush" jeered George W. Bush's motorcade during yesterday's inauguration parade.

The procession of cars sped up as Mr Bush neared the designated location for protesters on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police said at least 10 people were arrested during the inauguration ceremonies, including four women who protested against the wearing of furs by stripping off in the near-freezing temperatures.

Eight protesters lay down in the street, pretending to be dead, with flowers strewn over their bodies.
