but the voter's did not commit it.
ergo it is not voter fraud.
Thanks Faye...this is an important nuance. Everyone pay attention!

| 6. Faye, you are so right! And we don't need "voter reform" either... |
|
The poor voters aren't the ones that need the reforming!
We need "Election Reform" or "Electoral Reform".

they keep referring to VOTERS, when as a whole, WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG! ALL WE TRY TO DO IS CAST OUR FREAKING VOTES!
and the Republicans, mainly, keep saying VOTER VOTER VOTER.
It's not US. It's THEM. And they know it, and they are using a reverse psychology kind of maneuver to confused people who aren't up to date on the issue. It makes me sick.

when I first found DU and BBV.com, I ordered a "black ribbon" magnet for my car, from a guy advertising on BBV.com, I think. What do you think it says?
"Stop Voter Fraud!"
I keep it on my refrigerator and explain to everyone who sees it how it is WRONG to call it that.

| 14. Thanks for doing this Faye, I can't understand why... |
|
people don't seem to understand the difference let alone the importance of the difference.
Words have power.
The RW would like you to continue to use "voter fraud" because that implies that the fraud was accomplished by the voters. This allows for them to point out the few instances of dirty tricks etc perpetrated by midguided dems and equate those with the larger fraud accomplished with blackboxes.
"Election fraud" correctly implies that the fraud was accomplished by entities other than individual voters.

I just forget sometimes, and sometimes I think that well some voters did commit fraud. But you are right it is election fraud and I tend to forget.

but the GENERAL term is ELECTION FRAUD. I mean, when you are referring the fraud altogether, it is election fraud.
i'm not going to let people forget. if i have to post a daily reminder i will do it till we get it right. i don't know about you but i'm not falling for the Rovian tactics

| 17. good point...convince elected Dems to frame this way |
|
it will be an uphill battle, but they are still sticking with "irregularities" and "hackable" machines. The machines aren't hacked. The work the way they are designed to, to manipulate the totals.

Why am I going out of my mind trying to get this across to people? I need to break it down so more will understand.
Voter fraud, vote fraud, voter intimidation, voter suppression, registration fraud, inadequate amount of voting machines or equipment, recount fraud, recount tampering, vote rigging, etc., etc., etc.
These are all individual isses that fall under the BROAD GENERAL TERM, ELECTION FRAUD.
