Karl Rove used issues like the gay marriage amendment to make inroads among black voters. It wasn't a lot but it was enough to possibly swing a state like Ohio to Bush.

were manipulated to "turn" African American Kerry votes into Bush votes. Many states had same sex marriage amendments on the ballot. Voting to ban same sex marriage does not preclude a voter from voting for Kerry. African Americans were instrumental in passing Issue 3 in Cincinnati.
In all my GOTV in African American neighborhoods in Cincinnati only 1 African American said he was voting for Bush. In fact Hamilton County's GOP presidential percentage dipped precipitously in 2004 as Cincinnati is even less white than it was in 2000.
No, I do not buy 16% for Ohio.

With the advantages of incumbency and national security (which helped Bush even though he didn't deserve it), you'd expect Bush's support to have increased among most groups. Even if this is true, I'm not sure that it signifies any meaningful move towards the Republicans.
It would be interesting to compare such data for other Presidents who were reelected, comparing initial election versus reelection campaigns.

That was quite the wedge issue that Rove picked. A multi-headed hydra wedge. But I do think that it will be difficult to get anywhere near the Kool-Aid, they haven't been drinking in for 250 and may actually have more in common with non-koolaid drinkers than ever before.

They did not campaign in the black community, at least not in SW Ohio. Cuyahoga and Franklin County DUers?
This may be more evidence of fraud.

| 12. Highly dubious statistic |
|
Definately from the NEP exit polls, but how many African American respondants did they have, and what were their choices? The estimate on the Jewish vote is suspect, and I would not doubt that the African American estimate is as well, but I have not examined it.
If not fictional, it can be explained by better than previous vote suppression of urban African Americans, and stronger republican support from suburban/exurban African Americans (the Ward Connerleys of the world). But then again, if your numbers aren't firm, you can invent any pattern.

Most of the theft in Cuyahoga county occured in precincts with a high proportion of black voters.

What happened in Cuyahoga was voter suppression, not vote theft.

| 16. This claim has been going on since the "election". |
|
Rove made a point of telling all new Thug governors that they had a "Mandate" because of the minority vote.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if what rosebud says about flipping the order on ballots was in place to steal in this way.
Their m.o. has been to do something dishonestly and then create the "appearance" that it happened for the reason they created. Like Kerry didn't win because of the Swift Boat Vets, or Dean lost because of the "scream."
Or now, "we have the minority vote" or it's increasing in our favor and now they are seducing some black ministers with faith-based initiative garbage. They always seem to work in a double pronged way--first steal something or do it dishonestly, then create a situation to be the reason for the change.
I don't even want to look at that article just yet. It makes me so furious what they are doing with this.
