The biggest challenge for election reform is getting people to think it is important. Most don't.

5. I am not doubting that. I am just saying what the challenges are.

People around DU complain about Dems not standing up for election reform, as if it is something that everyone in America wants. It's just not true.

I always keep this in mind when I am talking to someone about election reform. Chances are that they will see any talks of "stolen elections" as tinfoil hattery, so I try to give the info in a polite, non-Bush bashing manner. It has worked well so far.

7. Amen! Finally! We are hostages if we don't make it number 1. We

cannot help the veterans, the uninsured, the rights deprived, anyone if we don't have the ability to remove an incumbent or vote against a new candidate. We must have our vote. We promised it to our children. I was promised a vote.

We can't have our vote privatized - which it is now - with:

. Republican owned hardware and software.
.Republican owned technicians - some from Israel and Russie as reported.
. Republicn netowrks who pay for and own exit polling data which they can manipulate any which way they want (in collusion).
. Republican ownd media which ridicules and insults anyone who says the vote is fixed and puts fear into the voices of many of our leaders silencing them, intimidating them; except for Conyers and a few others who have done something about it that is worthwhile.
