| Sticky Election Day irregularities thread? |
|
I know I haven't been here long, and forgive me if this has been addressed, but is there going to be one place where we can log any suspicious behavior that occurs during this election?
If we just had one thread that listed all the problems people were having, we could get out in front of all the challenges that will take place the next day, and do it in a clear, concise, organized manner.
Like many, I have a feeling there will be a lot of sabotage disguised as honest incompetence. I think it will come from every possible angle. I also have a feeling that the Repukes will use time as a weapon, and make things as hard to unravel as possible. The longer they sit with their candidates as the "winners" and the Democrats claiming "challenger" status, the harder the results will be to overturn. I'm just hoping we can get as organized and alert as possible once we get home from the polls, and make it as difficult as possible for the bastards!

| 1. This sounds like such a logical idea. If there was one "Forum" |
|
for all of us to report strange activity, it would eliminate a million separate threads and allow greater comparison of events. One vote here for this proposal.

| 2. I heard of a possible problem last night on the Gene Burns show on KFI. |

It seems that each county in CA has their own absentee ballets. Some counties' ballots are postage paid and you do not have to put a stamp in them to mail them in. Some say you need to add first class postage to mail them. Some say you need to add sufficient postage to mail them. The problem is, 39 cents isn't enough postage. It takes 59 cents I think they said. Most people will think first class postage is a 39 cent stamp and it won't be enough postage. The question is will the votes be counted or returned for insufficient postage. If so it will probably be too late to mail them back. We do have a Repub sec of state so I look for dirty tricks and maybe this is one. I don't know.

| 3. If we're ever going to be able to prove planned incompetence, |
|
we need to have all these instances compiled, and ready to present almost immediately after the election. We need to leave no doubt, if this goes down like I fear it will, that these instances were planned, and need to be investigated before the election would be legitimized.
