Isn't it funny how police and organizers just can't seem to agree on how many people are at a protest? Watch for this Saturday in Columbus to have thousands of people, and any coverage will use 'hundreds' (or even 'dozens') as often as possible.

3. So do we, the media just won't cover it

I am in San Francisco, where people protested and even caused some damage the day after the election. Mainstream media didn't even cover it. I know in other cities, like Denver, the same thing happened.

But I agree that we need to organize large protests for inauguration day, preferably in Washington D.C. (if people are in that part of the country)

We can't wait that long. I don't want to wait until Dec. 12th. I haven't given up yet. Maybe I'm just dumb. But I know most Americans voted for Kerry, and so most Americans would be GLAD to see the election reversed.

26. Just watched it live on CBC

The crowd was in the thousands at the bottom of Parliment hill and in front of the Chateau Marmont Hotel(they thought perhaps that Bush or his people are staying there).The protest was peaceful at first and then all of a sudden a group of protestors in masks and handerchiefs got aggressive. Then many riot police showed attempting to block the surge toward the hotel. In doing so 2 police were dragged away injured and several rioters were arrested.police put on there gas masks and were about to use tear gas when the crowd started to disperse. They said that these groups woulod be moving on to different sites to protest throughout the day.

It was so good to see people disgusted by the Bush regime making their views heard. They could be a little less passsive aggresive though. Canadien's are generally too polite to riot big time. This shows how disgusted they are. Signs say "Get Out" and "Bush S****">

I believe Bush is meeting there with the leader of the Conservative opposition, Stephen Harper. At least that was supposed to be the next item on the agenda, after the press conference with the Prime Minister.

Just what we need .... Harper kissing more butt, yet again. And I don't remember if previous visits by an American President have ever involved meeting separately with the leader of the opposition (as opposed to meeting the Prime Minister). Is this a first - does anyone know?
