I managed to catch part of it tonight, hadn't seen it yet. Didn't get the full episode because our TV weather crews took over the broadcast 1/2way through.
Anyway. It's intriguing and Ian McShane kicks ass with this kind of faux-Shakespearean dialog. Unfortunately, most of the rest of the cast gets tripped up in it and doesn't have enough left over to present characters.
It really is a shame how badly we've lost the art of playing with language.

You've seen one half of the show's fifth hour. I recommend giving it a chance.

| 3. The first episode was strange to get used to.. but now, after adjusting to the format |

and the dialogue, its really great. I hope that the characters adjust and settle into their roles as the show develops.. lot's of stuff going on and it drops you in the middle of the happenings... the beginning is aloof and the end is no where near.. but it is really quite good... of course, if I like it, it will get cancelled.

Wes Studi, Dylan Baker, Miguel Ferrer...in a fantasy setting...what's not to like? Plus the King's daughter is gorgeous.

Terrific show. However, I don't think it will last. I just dont think TV execs have the patience to wait for it to find an audience.
