| 1. Two memorable Maundy Thursday services I've attended |
|
In one, men of the local Methodist church took on the characters of the disciples and each spoke of their thoughts on Jesus. At the end, they all took their places at the table, looking like da Vinci's "The Last Supper".
In the other, a Unity Church in Springfield MO had a hand washing ceremony. It was very moving because it was done as a spiritual practice of service, one to another. (They did hand washing rather than foot washing for logistical purposes.)
