You'd have a point if we were talking about an event that was delayed across time zones, or recently-released movie, but this was just one of dozens or regular professional athletic games played today, broadcast live across the country, with the result already listed on every sports-news site on the planet. The spoiler train left the station a long time ago, and if you expect to be surprised it's your job to turn off the computer, unplug the phone, pull the blinds, and push 'Play' before interacting with the outside world...

The 'boys have a bright future ahead of them. The running attack is fearsome and they are competent on both sides of the ball, a good base to build on. If the passing attack can get in gear, it will allow them to hold the ball longer and keep the defense rested.

The team that beat them tonight is a monster team, one that has all the parts needed to be a champion, and a dangerous new passing game to complement a punishing running game. There's no shame in losing a close, last-second game to them. This Giants team may end up even better than their championship team of two years ago, less dependent on their defense to keep them in every game.
