| 3. No doubt. Just pointing out the loss and how the Main-stream Sports Media has |
|
been saying the Heat are better than the Michael Jordon teams of the 90's.

Verdict is still out on that one so far. We'll see when the Celtics come calling.
edited for missing punctuation.

Their only loss (which doesn't mean a lot this early) was to the Heat.

| 11. Heat are a bully team right now |
|
Able to let out the string in yo-yo games against inferior opposition, leading to overstatement against capable personnel.
Actually, I love teams like that, and always have. Great betting opportunities. It's like the pass happy football teams that overwhelm inferior defenses then are shell shocked and exposed by the handful of stalwart opponents.
It was predictable the Heat would be this type of team initially. Every sharp guy I know took the Celtics in game one. But it's up for grabs if the Heat can tighten and transition to deep playoff legitimacy. One friend of mine keeps saying Miami lacks 30 pounds and 30% athleticism under the boards.
Last week I almost pulled off the road in hysteria when Dan LeBatard was insisting on his radio show that the Heat might not lose 3 home games all season. He was actually going through the schedule game by game. Jesus. It's 41 pro teams, and one bad scheduling spot after another, like first game home off a long road trip. That's all you need to know. Probability will take care of a landslide in either direction.
