Everyones screaming about something, and Michael Irvin has to be the most inarticulate person to ever hold a microphone on live television.

ESPN died the day that Disney bought them.

It's more like MTV and VH1 with every passing day.

They ruined one of my great loves.

Now it's like watching Ann Coulter and some remote grade school coach, battle for how idiotic they can sound...

7. I remember

When ESPN actually showed sports. All night.

Yeah, it might be Gaelic football or elephant soccer, but it was sports. Instead, they run 12 hours of Sportscenter a day. Then talking head shows. Started okay with PtI, but Around the Horn came in, and now every show seems to be about arguing. It's Crossfire run rampant.

Once or twice a day, you might see a ball game of some sort. That's it.

What's ESPN News for, if not for constant reruns of Sportscenter? Show us something new.

3. If I were Irvin I'd be inarticulate today too

How the fuck did they not put him in the Hall of Fame on the first ballot? It's one of the most absurd things I've heard of. I'd didn't like him when he played--hell, I grew up in Philadelphia--but he was undoubtedly one of the best receivers.

Anyhow, I agree. ESPN has sucked on game days the past few seasons. I never got that Ditka "get your playbook" bullshit.

I used to cringe when they'd ask him about the Patriots because he'd dismantle them every time. What an asshole. Irvin's just an idiot, but he was a hell of a receiver.

..I don't watch any of the pre-game, post-game, post-post game, pre-pre-game shows anyway...just play the effing game and be done with it...it ain't rocket-science for crying out loud...
