Butch Davis resigns from Browns

WTAM 1100 AM announces Butch has had enough, wanted out. Speculation is he'll try for the Florida job.

Chris Mortenson on ESPN said that he was fired. What I hear is that if he's fired he gets 12 mil severence pay-what about if he resigns? So, who's next for the Brownies? Ferentz, Cornell??

2. Collins, the business guy there, said Davis resigned

Lerner was willing to let him stay till the end of the year, but if Davis wants to coach college ball he needs to start now, recruiting is already underway.
