"I don't really mind it. I don't plan on being irrelevant," Succop said. "I've been very blessed, and I plan on making an impact right away."

He will be honored with a week in Newport Beach, Calif., in June, just as Lions cornerback Ramzee Robinson was in 2007.

Robinson is one of four Mr. Irrelevants still in the NFL.

South Carolina pushed Florida around in the Swamp for the majority of the game but Succup decided he'd like to have several FGs and an extra point swatted back toward him. Late miss allowed Florida to win by 1 point. Otherwise, the Gators would not have been in that title game where they destroyed Ohio St.
