Most gay people anyway...as with any sect of society there are assholes...But most gay people I know are wonderful open loving people. And that's really more than I can say for most "non" gay people I know.

I'm pushing 50 but had a great couple of years being attached to a NY City fireman, at my tender age of 19, who ventured to Fire Island, NY for summers: visiting Cherry Grove, The Pines, this experience for me was fabulous and I've always had a soft spot in my heart for talented, larger than life gay guys. Oddly, I don't remember the girls so much.

gay persons can have their hearts broken. I remember well a friend of mine, from church, yep, that this happened to. SO no, they aren't always upbeat.

8. yes that's true, I once knew a guy..........

In college. He was gay. We hung out sometimes. He was alot like Will on Will and Grace only perhaps more bitter, and then he got a boyfriend, and he was exactly like Jack overnight. Damndest thing I've ever seen. Other than him before he found a bf though, the stereotype stands, for me at least.

5. I don't want to generalize, but most gay men I know . . .

are very sensitive human beings . . . sensitive to the needs of others, sensitive to the Earth and to other living creatures, sensitive to injustice and bigotry of all kinds . . . I'm just sayin' . . .
