8. damn I wish i could remember the name of the lady who lead

an anti-gay group in Maine during the early 90's. I happened to be at my parents in Maine at the time and i remember her group put anti-gay flyers in the bangor daily news papers and we were all appalled. it was prior to a gay rights referendum vote. This lady became quite notorious and then she eventually left the state. i have googled all combinations of words I could think of to come up with her name but I can't get anything. If I remember correctly, her and Mike Heath from Maine Christian Civic League (or whatever they call themselves now)and her didn't get along. DAMN i wish i could think of her name.grrrrrr
