Alan Osmond Says The Osmonds Brought in Chuck Norris to 'De-Feminize' Their Dance Moves

Eldest Osmond brother Alan says in a new interview that the Osmond Brothers' dancing was too effeminate, so they brought in Chuck Norris, who basically taught them how to add karate-style moves to make it more manly.

Says Osmond: "Chuck, we need to toughen up our dance. Can you help us? And he said 'well let's learn some karate and you can apply the moves' cause there's stomps, and HOOO, YEAH. You know, it was very boyish, and that's what we wanted."

3. Biggest homophobe in the whole toothy clan.

As I recall, some months back, Alan Osmond was pestering Argentina to stop marriage equality down there (and a good number of folks descended on his Facebook page to politely counter his efforts).

Then there's Donny, a spineless little punk who deflects all questions about his homophobia by saying he supports LDS, Inc.'s anti-gay "Proclamation on the Family"...

Then there's Hyrum Osmond, son of one of the bunch (which, I don't know, but he's one of Donny's nephews), who works for Disney and plopped down $2,200 on the pro-H8 campaign...

Then you've got (who I believe is) the daughter of Wayne Osmond -- another hundred bucks on H8...

The only one worth the air she breathes is Marie -- but I suspect she wouldn't be quite so cool if her own daughter wasn't a big ol' out lesbian.

5. I thought about Michael Blosil...

...but decided not to mention him only because I didn't know if it was ever established beyond a doubt he was gay -- even though I know he was... you know?

I did hear a few things about Michael from an exmo who said s/he knows the OsKlan -- that, yes, he most certainly was gay, that the pressure from within the family was horrendous, and that a couple of his uncles were far more aggressively homophobic than anyone on the outside could ever imagine.

Sadly, with what I know now about the Mormon-bigotry-is-thicker-than-blood thing, I can imagine it all too well. :(

BTW, that fashion school he was going to? One of its teachers is a H8er, as is her dentist-husband (Mormons, of course; almost all anti-gay dentists are Mormons). There, I definitely mentioned Michael.

On a side note: I never will understand how people in the arts and entertainment world can be homophobic bigots (and there are plenty of them). We're told that homophobia decreases with more exposure to LGBTs... and then I see someone like this Habermeyer woman, and I remember that some people are just unreachable.
