A Santa Fe teen who took part in the beating of a gay man last February has shown no remorse the judge in the case says.

David Trinidad, 17, has pleaded guilty in a deal with prosecutors for a reduced sentence.

But, State District Judge Michael Vigil said in light of Trinidad's attitude he will sentence him as an adult.

Vigil said he will pass sentence on Trinidad and three other people who entered guilty pleas in the attack after two remaining defendants go to trial next February.
