For LGBT folks, the holidays may not always be the most wonderful time of the year. Whether it means sitting across from Uncle Mike at the dinner table and listening to his homophobic jokes, spending the holidays alone because your family has rejected you or your partner or traveling to states with outrageously homophobic laws, the holidays can be a stressful time for LGBT people. Fortunately there are steps people can take to minimize the holiday angst and maybe actually enjoy themselves.
