http://www.365gay.com/Newscon05/12/122305waMarr.htmThursday came and went without a ruling from the state of Washington Supreme Court of same-sex marriage.
The court issues its decisions on Thursdays and for months gay and lesbian couples have been anxiously awaiting a ruling on a constitutional challenge to a state law banning same-sex marriage.
Had the court ruled this week in favor of gay unions same-sex couples immediately would have been able to obtain marriage licenses, with the first weddings possible on Christmas eve.
It is considered unlikely that the court will issue any rulings next week, in advance of New Years.
