There was a man who spoke at the Chicago protest yesterday who's been an activist for 38 years.
For the gay and lesbian community. Since 1970.

Listening to him talk about his fighting for our community since the beginning...hell, that's RIGHT after Stonewall....it was quite sobering. I felt ashamed that I didn't do a goddamned thing for our community for a long, long time. I wonder if others in the crowd felt the same as I did.
