The results of the Scottish Executive survey suggested that there was now widespread acceptance of the fact that anyone can suffer from such problems.
It is only the second time that a National Survey of Public Attitudes to Mental Health has been carried out.
Researchers have published their findings from about 1,500 interviews.

My family has been touched by mental illness, although before it happened they were all high achievers and stable people.
It is an insidious disease and I pray that we follow the example of the Scots.

That psychology and mental illness were all symptoms of the selfishness of secular society, that it was just a matter of not praying enough.
However, having been present when my beloved grandmother had a nervous breakdown, I knew better.
