1. Johns Hopkins Medical Letter (April) says "If drugstore treatments |
|
don't work, your doctor may freeze the wart with liquid nitrogen or apply "cantharidin" a chemical that causes the skin under the wart to blister and raises the wart off the skin so it can be cut off. Both procedures can hurt and may take multiple treatments".
This probably doesn't help you much, but I thought it was interesting that I just read the article earlier this morning.

I have been reading into it.
The Doc gave 3 choices:
1. Duct tape and Salicylic acid 2. Cantharidin application(s) 3. Freeze and burn
So far I have chosen #2. He said about a 90-95% success rate and it seemed the less hassle and pain of the bunch. Still will be a pain considering they are on the ball of my foot.

3. I had this done and it absolutely works. You may need repeated treatments. |
|
It always hurts when the blisters form, but it's worth it.

4. I had considered the... |
|
...duct tape route but these are painful and I need them gone.
Thanks for the real life input!
