| 1. It pretty much marks you as a quack |
|
When you use the big blue fonts and all caps to shout the same message over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
It makes you look like one of those crazy ass street-corner preachers proclaiming the end of the world.
You have beaten that horse to death, move on.

| 2. I guess they didn't get enough attention the first time around... |
|
Next they'll be carving a big ol' "D" on their cheek and claiming they have swine flu.

| 3. Maybe you need an eye exam? |
|
all caps? Not there!
Those links have the bold code. It's normal.
Get some glasses and then you can see the little 'x' for the hide a thread feature and spare us your indignation. Street preacher indeed. GLASSES! And then a mirror.

| 5. Perhaps you should look again at the lower half of every post from this poster. |
|
Then you can apologize if you wish.

in a total of five links. Again, that's the look of the bold code. Click on it, it isn't blue any longer.
Nothing to apologize for. I'll suggest again, "hide thread".

| 6. This poster has claimed that Vitamin D helps with everything from |
|
cancer to AIDS--and now swine flu.
I'm not saying that vitamin D is a bad thing, but this poster has exhibited extreme attitudes toward vitamin D. It gives the impression that he is off of his rocker.

| 7. I'm a bit of a nut about Vitamin D myself. I was looking for reports |

connecting lack of Vitamin D and SAD, when I found reports connecting Vitamin D and MS, Vitamin D and Arthritis, Vitamin D and diabetes. In each case, people involved in studying MS, Arthritis or diabetes had had an independent theory and had experimental evidence showing a connection. It sounds like quackery, "Vitamin D cures everything" but if you go back to the original sources it all makes sense.
Current RDAs for vitamins are set based on preventing obvious diseases such as scurvy or beri-beri. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see other RDAs adjusted as more subtle connections are found with chronic diseases.
On edit - I have seen studies connecting Vitamin D to prostate and colon cancer. I haven't seen anything about AIDS, but given the interplay between Vitamin D and the immune system, it wouldn't surprise me.
