Paul Pantone

Hi Science People,

I just met a fellow who told me the tale of Paul Pantone. I have never heard of him before, and of course did a little search on the 'net, but can find nothing on DU of either Paul or GEET...I have to wait to talk with the fellow who told me of him today, but meantime, does anyone here know of the latest news on Paul? I can only find year-old references to him via the 'net.

My quickie internet research after seeing your post makes me pretty sure the dude is not a savior being suppressed by the powers that be (though he may well be subject to unjust treatment). It looks like GEET is basically an alternative carburetor with a bunch of bells and whistles added in the service of persuading investors that he has some miracle breakthrough (and like everyone else who claims to run cars on water, he's being oppressed by Big Oil, etc.). See, for instance, this page on efforts to replicate GEET and this page with links to pro and con web sites.

It might be a useful invention but it sounds like he has a history of overselling it and angering his allies.
