The final launch of Space Shuttle Atlantis on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3deA3BXAnHs&feature=feeduThe first three minutes are fantastic, as are all shuttle launches. There's a poignancy about the fact that this is the last launch of the Space Shuttle.

many of us were in tears. For those of us who grew up in the age of human space flight, it is a bittersweet event. We are proud that the team got the Atlantis up, yet it is the end of the project.
Wanna have a good cry, visit Kennedy Space Center. They have so much space stuff, from the beginning of it all, to the present day, and into the future, it's simply awesome. If you are a space buff, you will thoroughly enjoy everything there.

It must have been utterly amazing ... I'm glad you were there to experience such a historic moment.
I've been to two shuttle launches, when Hubble was first deployed and when they did the servicing mission 3 years later. It was incredible. Such wonderful memories ....
