One of the items that came from the news about the Gaza fight, was about that Hamas leader who purposefully stayed in his home even after he was warned that the building was going to be bombed by the Israelis. An act of defiance, fine.
But why keep his four wives and 12 children there? Isn't this an act of spousal abuse?

Eighteen other people, including all four of Rayan's wives and nine of his 12 children, also died, Palestinian health officials said. The Muslim faith allows men to have up to four wives.
Hamas leaders went into hiding before Israel launched its operation, but Rayan was known for openly defying Israel, and the army said he had a tunnel under his house that could serve as an escape route.
