Is it just me, or do they advertise meat a helluva lot?

I never really noticed it until I went vegetarian, but most of the food advertisements I see on TV are for some preparation of meat. Makes me wonder what the demand for meat would really be like if corporations didn't spend so much money telling us to want meat.

it freaking annoys me how meat based this society is. For instance, go into the store and try to find a soup without some kind of meat or chicken in it. Why is that. And if it is, then it's "vegetable soup" with green beans in it, which I think are gross in anything but themselves. There is no logical reason for it to be this way.

2. at least that danged "BEEF, it's what's for dinner" ad seems to be gone

I hate it when they take good music and ruin it by placing it with ads I dislike. We had a music teacher play that for kids and ask them what they thought it was like, and almost all of them said "STEAK" (I think the music was from Rodeo).
