| Help me get my itunes back, please |
|
I was able to get my operating system running correctly with this forums help after I stupidly used a Microsoft product (keyboard) without being really sure what I was doing.
The advice was to reinstall OS X, which I did. Now when I try to open itunes, I get the following message -
The itunes music library cannot be read because it was created by a newer version on itunes. (whaaaaa,,,?)
I did recently upgrade to 10.2.8
OMG!!!! WTF!!!! No, really what do i do next? Me and the kid want our johhny cash and bob dylan back. mucho mucho thanks. AmandaRuth and miniAmandaRuth

| 2. Update through the Software Update in the System Preferences |
|
First repair permissions from the Disk Utility application.
Then run Software Update. It will bring all the system software up to the most recent for the version of OSX you are using. You will probably have to restart your computer when you are finished.
Run repair permissions once again.
