Anybody know how to make a sig animation stop moving?

There's a poster with an incredibly annoying dancing frog signature and he posts a LOT. Somebody suggested hitting the escape key but that doesn't seem to work on my Mac. I tried "Stop/reload" in Safari, another suggestion, but that didn't work either. Help?

1. the only thing i can tell you

is that in firefox, clicking on the scroll bar and holding stops gif animations. kind of awkward, but its all i know

as an extreme measure, you can go into DU options and remove sigs. drastic, but it would take care of the problem
