| OSX Mail and Sherlock Questions |
|
1. I was using Outlook Express and loved creating separate "new" file folders to save emails. I can't figure out how to do it in OSX. Can it be done?
2. In System 9.2 I was able to search for documents on the hard drive. When I use Sherlock on OSX, it searches the internet. How do I find files and docs on the hard drive?
Thanks.

| 1. I don't know about Outlook Express, but in the Mail program |
|
that comes with the computer, just go to the Mailbox menu and click on "New..."
The location should be "On my Mac," and there's a space for naming the mailbox. New mailboxes appear in alphabetical order in the "drawer" where the inbox, outbox, drafts, sent mail, trash, and junk mail folders are.

Sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees.
I've been working on Macs since 1990 and have to tell you that this OSX has me crazy. I really don't like it ---- yet.

Now on the rare occasions when I go back to Classic, it looks clunky to me.
