Wierd mouse problem

Wierd mouse problem
I packed up my G4 laptop and the kensington mouse with cord and drove 8 hours and set everything up at its new abode.

All is OK - EXCEPT the mouse is now left handed and while it goes up and down OK - the left/right directionals are REVERSED.

Same thing happens when I switch its USB port.

Can't find anything on the web about this - what is going on?
