So I'm getting an iPod for Christmas and I'm very exciting. But it seems from Apple.com that they require 10.3.9 now. I'm not sure how something they've been making for years suddenly requires this but...I only have 10.2.8, noone can hook me up with Panther and it seems pointless to buy it with Laopard comeing out. Agreed? The only thing I worry about is if I'll be able to go right from 10.2.8 to Leopard. Thoughts?

| 1. We use 10.2.8; sweetie's brand new iPod works fine with it so far. |

She just got the iPod for her birthday last week, so I finally downloaded the iPod drivers that 'Software Update' has been bugging me about for 2 years.
Anyway, the iPod is working fine with OS 10.2.8 and iTunes 4.2.
