I ordered my new Mac Book today!!

I am so excited. My ibook broke. I was bummed for a couple days. Then I decided oh what the hell, I have been wanting a new laptop anyway. So I bit the bullet, decided to wait to buy a new washer and dryer and I ordered a new computer. So my clothes may not be as clean, but I will be happier. :)

It comes on Friday :woohoo:

Word of warning about what happened to my ibook - a couple months ago, I stepped on the power cord and bent the end of it. Like an idiot, I bent it back and plugged it in. I had to jiggle it to make it work but it worked. I knew I should probably just go buy a new power cord but I was thinking I was saving money by not doing that. The old cord worked, I just had to jiggle it.

Then last weekend, the little plug end came off the cord - and it got stuck inside my computer. I spent two days going from one computer store to another and got on the phone too trying to find a tech who could remove the end of the plug from my computer. My hubby is a tech and he spent several hours trying to get it out. Aargh!! I finally found out that the only way to fix it was to have the computer taken apart and that was going to cost $500. Ouch.

And the new Mac Books come with a magnetic power cord. No way for it to break off like mine did. LOL I wonder if anyone else had this same problem?
