Freeware to resize a jpg image on Mac?

This was my first resizing freeware. Bare bones, but efficient.

4. Wow - even a bit elegant in it's simplicity.

Definitely bare bones though - you can only choose from 4 different "preset" sizes.

I was able to resize the pic now in my sigline using an online resource that was most definitely INELEGANT - but it allowed me to crop, resize, and add text.

plug in "graphics" in the search window.

You will see Graphic Converter. It is shareware, but it only nags a bit by slowing down the launch. Gimp.app is pretty good and free, but it has a bit steeper learning curve. Graphic Converter is one hell of an app.

I believe you can resize in iPhoto. I haven't used it in years, but it seems you can.

It's a pretty good package, but it's less feature-rich than Photoshop, so I wouldn't call it an "open-source version of Photoshop". Still, it has all the functionality most people need.

They've been making graphics software for the Mac since 1992.

Excellent software (I'm a graphics pro, BTW). Not photoshop, but it does some things that PS can't/won't do.

13. Does your comp have

appleworks on it? If you have OSX, it probably came with it.

It has a paint like program that will do it.
