Well got the new machine

the Macbook is just great... and best of all, cross overs runs my windows application like a charm

I bought it from best buys since they had a couple open boxes for a great price, not even small dogs could beat that one...

But I will order cross over from Small Dog in a couple of days, as well as probably some other software. For the moment will see if they have grammarian.

By the way... as a point of comparison... vista took oh two hours to get up and running. This one took fifteen minutes.

I am impressed by that.

But, Apple needs to check some of their attitude at the door... the employee at the Mac store was not what I would call helpful... now the guys at best buys were... and directed me to their open boxes... and boy this machine came with one meg... and it runs fairly fast. In fact, that should be enough for me to play with for some years to come.

2. I think it is the local store

I've had three guys at that store that were unhelpful and one that was very helfful

Anyhow the deal I got from best buys, not even small dogs had... it was a very good deal

3. And I learned why to my chagrin

so today I had to take it back and going to small dogs in a sec

I have never seen that behavior in a computer, EVER.
