Some website javascript has stopped working for me on some (perhaps all?) sites: website clicks requiring javascript don't do squat
Using OSX 10.6.6 (up to date)
I tried several different browsers: Chrome (up to date), Firefox4beta (up to date), Safari (up to date), Opera (up to date)
Same problem with all. I double-checked Preferences for the various browsers to see whether (if applicable) javascript was enabled: whenever there was an applicable checkbox, it was appropriately checked
Ran verify permissions from disk utility. There were some incorrect permissions on java virtual machine files, so I repaired. Didn't help
This online javascript tester tells me "JavaScript IS WORKING in your web browser" when I drop by (using Chrome, say):
http://www.javatester.org/javascript.htmlExample of the problem:
I search Supreme Court dockets and get 35 hits for Obama:
http://www.supremecourt.gov/search.aspx?Search=obama&type=Supreme-Court=Dockets7 hits show on the first page
There are navigation buttons (like "Next >") atop the displayed list
I can see the navigation buttons are javascript -- but they don't do squat
Yall got any ideas?
