My donor star expired, and this year has been too hideously bad to be able to renew yet (and that meant I was unable to post in here :cry: )

I just noticed it's back, so now y'all have to put up with me a little longer. :evilgrin:

So, what's cookin'?

I'm experimenting with sourdough starter (using rye flour, gradually incorporating white flour). So far, so good (it's ALIVE!). I figure since we live in the bay area, I might as well see if I can capture a little of that lactobaccillus sanfrancisco we have in the air and find out if we can make real sourdough at home.

4. I was given a star also, and I don't know who to thank. I always

donate but this year I've been so busy taking my daughter-in-law three times a week to physical therapy. She blacks out and cannot drive a vehicle - and after one year of doctor after doctor, they still cannot find the cause. (Actually I take her anywhere she has to go 5 days a week because of the black outs)....
