My husband burned up all of my DU recipes!

They were on top of the toaster oven (my fault) and when he heated up some bread sticks, he didn't turn the oven off all the way. We were in the next room and I have a pretty sensitive nose. I kept asking him, Are you sure you turned the toaster oven off? Finally, he got up to investigate and the printed recipes were in flames! The top of the toaster oven is now charred black but it still works.

Guess I'll have to go through these threads and start printing again. :(

I'm thinking of getting a binder and dividers to organize them. Before you know it, I'll have a DU Cookbook!

Kitchens are not safe spaces for computers, IMHO!

I know I'd never trust my baby to the vicissitudes of my kitchen... and that's with having an island, a desk nook and a couple of half-height cabinets I could put it on.
