| What's for dinner? ~ Saturday April 18th Edition |
|
Howdy folks. Still feeling crappy here. Just really tired all the time. Going back to my doc on Wednesday. I think it's time to adjust my thyroid meds again.
Bill is working late so he'll eat at the pub. It's going to be Liver and Onions with fresh sourdough and a salad for me. :)
What's for dinner where you are?

| 2. I'm impressed that you can cook while feeling so punk. |
|
I think Campbell's or Progresso would be calling to me if I didn't feel well and didn't have to cook for anyone else. Feel better soon! How's your weather? Springy?

| 4. It has been beautiful here the past few days. Cool, sunny and tons |

of pretty things in bloom. I thought the liver would help, which it did, a little anyway, or I would have gone an easier route. LOL

| 5. too bad Progresso doesn't make a liver and onions soup |
|
That would be useful!
We just had plain ol' hamburger soft tacos, some refried beans from a can, and some spanish rice from a box. Teenagers love "mexican" food.

| 8. After a long day of working outside, |
|
we cleaned up and went into town to the hardware store. Stopped at a pizza joint while we were out. Pizza and salad both expensive and disappointing, and they were playing Christian contemporary music very loudly in the place. Scratching another place off the list.
I'm glad you're going to see the doc this week.

I LIVE for liver pate of all sorts. And liverwurst. My daughter and a DU pal KNOW to have liver pate and sourdough sitting on the counter when I arrive at their homes, whether there is any other food or not doesn't matter... it's all I need.
I haven't ever cared for liver & onions. My mother made it for my dad and herself a lot. It smelled HEAVENLY DIVINE! But I'd not eat it and I haven't been around it for nearly 40 years. Maybe I am grown up enough to love it, and should give it another go. Probly I shouldn't make it for myself first time around... I could maybe get son-in-law chef to make some when they visit in a coupla weeks, even though husband and daughter will bolt from the house.
What should I have on hand? Calf's liver & onions is all?
Good that you're gonna see doc. Best wishes for feeling better!!!!!
