I'm jealous! We haven't been able to go for about two years or so now. Damn chickens!

3. I haven't been camping for a couple of years either. We've sworn that this summer

we're going to go. My son-in-law wants to get the boat in the water and my daughter and I are just itching to get out of town for a few days. We've also got some little boys (a 3 yo and 2 almost 2 yo) in the family who have never been camping. It should be fun. We'll have enough adults around to keep a close eye on all of them.

The best thing we ever did for camp cooking was get a cast iron Dutch oven. It worked so well we got a second one. We have made some of the best camp food ever in that old black pot ranging from breakfasts to desserts.
