Went to bake some bread today and found the bottom of my clay baker was cracked :( Fortunately I found a replacement bottom on ebay! Good thing too...the clay bakers sell for a huge amount of moola new.
I do sooooo love a bargain :)

My mom used to have some mink skins that included the head and feet - I thought they were cute when I was a kid but, but that was a LONG time ago!

Not the way they run it, but I like getting good stuff cheap. And old stuff which in general is so much better made than new stuff. Plus none of my dollars go to outsourcing corporations.
Plus it is amazing what people have for sale. I have some searches set up and have over the past couple of years snarfed up beer bottles from my great grandfathers bottling plant, and even a couple of invoices. Who saves this stuff :-) Who thinks someone else might want it :-)
Plus I am sure selling on ebay keeps the wolf from some people's doors.

| 4. True! I'm sure it really does help...It's like a global swapmeet! |

It's also a good outlet for crafters and small scale artisans. I've seen some artists develop a nice following on ebay.

| 7. Do you check the DU Marktetplace? |
|
Sometimes DUers post there about things they've posted on Ebay or Etsy.

Yes I do. I think it's so much fun to interact with the artisan/crafter of the product.
The creativity today 'blows my mind.'
I had been a crafter/creator for many years, but not to the degree of folks online today. I just made gifts but never sold stuff.
Nowdays with the internet - wow - the sky is the limit (sure would be fun to be young and starting over)!
