Where is Hippy Wife?
This is Mrs. Hatrack. Hippy Wife is one of my favorite posters in the Cooking and Baking forum, and I haven't seen any posting from Hippy Wife since early April.

Hippy Wife, are you okay?

Your cooking reports always inspire me!

I hope you have just been so busy cooking scrumptious meals that you haven't had time to post on DU!

3. How odd.
The first response was deleted. And I guess many posts afterward, too.

I miss hippywife's posts also. I am hoping she returns soon. She is very popular around this neck of the woods, eh?

Maybe she is just taking a break and enjoying real life. I am sure it's a busy gardening season.

4. I dropped by on Sunday
Just to see if she posted about what she was cooking that day. She often does that and I like to read those posts.

7. Glad to hear it...
I don't think I knew what area she lived in and you had me worried there for a bit!

I miss her pictures.

8. Hey, folks!
I'm still alive and kickin'! Been really very busy making jewelry, networking with my sellers and buyers. It takes a lot more of my time than I thought it would.

Sadly for Bill, I haven't been doing very much extravagant cooking. Just the basics. He really misses it all, but has been wonderfully supportive. He really is an awesome husband, friend, and design consultant. "How does this one look, honey?" LOL

Sorry if anyone's been worried, and it's very nice to be missed. If I had more to share, I would make time to be here more, but unfortunately nothing worth crowing about coming out of my kitchen. ;)

Hope all here are doing well.

10. He does sometimes
but not usually. He has a really bad back and it's difficult for him to be on his feet for too long. He would like to if he could, tho. Sometimes we cook things together.

Sorry to have worried anyone. :hi:

11. So glad you're okay and busy with new projects!
We missed you!

Now I'll have to do more of my own cooking and not live vicariously by reading your posts of your Sunday cooking extravaganzas.

Good luck with the jewelry business!

Mrs. Hatrack

12. back
I have a problem with my back. Not enough to go to the doc, just enough to be a nuisance doing garden stuff and bending over the sink. I keep thinking there must be a way around that -posture or something.

13. Knees
(the way 'around,' where ever possible.)

Also, tighten and use 'butt' and stomach muscles instead of straining back.

14. Ha!
I came to cooking and baking just no to look for you too. Know that you got a kick out of MFM in the lounge sometimes and hadn't seen your name in any of the get well or update threads so started getting worried about YOU.

Glad you are OK and great news on the jewelry thang!

15. Hi, Kali!
Good to see you. I am so behind on things. Can you please PM me on what is going on with him? I saw some mentions, but I lost track of the whole thing trying to backtrack to the start of the whole thing.

 :hi:
