Osiyo Party Video
For those of you who asked for photos of my party and the traditional native foods buffet, I just posted the video to my blog: http://www.vickismenu.com/vickismenu/?p=503

It was a super party, we had a lot of fun, and the entertainment was great (even if I do say so myself!)

:hi:

The response to the play was tremendous. I'm still buzzing from all the love. :hi:

7. I bet. I'd love to read it sometime!
I tell people I'd still be directing, but the squirrels and bears wont sit still long enough for anything but a one act.

8. There is a little section that I am going to rewrite
to crystalize one moment of realization. It's there, it's set up but I need to tweak it just a bit. After that, I'll can send you a pdf if you like. Watch out for bears! They can be terribly bad actors in certain circumstances.

9. That would be wonderful. As for the bears,
I find them to be wonderful actors!
They are, however, notoriously prone to stage-fright and easily distracted by pic-a-nic baskets.

I spent a wonderful afternoon watching one "chillin" in my yard a few years back. He watched me through the screen door a while, did his best to snack on the bird seed in the feeder, and sat for a loooong time leaned back against a tree looking out over the mountain. I really wanted to know what he was thinking!

10. I love animals of all kinds.
A few years ago we were having Thanksgiving dinner in NJ and a bear came out of the woods into the back yard. My friends have a duck pond. Their dogs went wild. Was the bear intimidated? Nope, poodles get no respect. Just be careful not to correct the cubs if your lead she-bear brings them to rehearsal! ;-)

3. What a wonderful party!
And congratulations on your ‘blue card’ tribal status and receiving a card from the Bureau of Indian Affairs! What an honor, and how humbling!

6. It was! It was! A wonderful party.
I feel as if I've been showered with 'gifts'. It was a great evening for all of us and I am indeed both honored and humbled to know so many people care for me. :hi:
