but yes, thanks, I greatly appreciate the generosity of DUers. Hanging out with liberals is so much more rewarding than hanging with compassionate conservatives. hahaha

I have spinal arthritis, which periodically paralyzes my right arm, so I know something of what it's like to live with chronic disease. From what little you've described on the threads I've read, I'd say you are much stronger than I am, though. That is really cool.

I cast the I Ching last night, and it said: "There is a possibility of eliminating misunderstandings, illusions and obstacles. The blood flowing from a sacrifice disperses the obstacle between the human and the spirit world. You are involved in a great work. Don't think about anything else now. This is not a mistake. In the end this will correct your entire situation. The center is changing. Be a part of it."

I--like most of us on DU--believe that a time of great suffering is at hand. But if we focus on the spiritual center, I think we can influence events to bring about a good end. Personally, I don't expect to see that end in my lifetime. I think it will take several generations to undo the damage that's been done already--and worse is coming. But I want to be part of that group that is actively working against the negativity and ego-saturation of this present age, to bring forth something better in the future.
