I Just Learned That My Dad Has Alzheimers Disease

I have suspected this for quite some time. Somehow hearing the words actually spoken makes it more real, and more frightening.

My mom and dad have been married for almost 55 years, and they are still in love. My mom is devastated. Her health isn't all that great, either, so I am concerned about her ability to take care of my dad.

Please pray for Alice and James, my mom and dad, and for my two brothers, Randy and Woody, and for me, as our family deals with this cruel disease.

I was the care giver for my dear Mother who finally left this world for a more peaceful place and I feel I will see her again and she'll be her real/old self again. Keep your chin up.
