I've lately been investigating the issue of "remote healing" (eg, prayer) and am reading a book right now about the Spindrifters (anyone hear of them before?)

Which means, that I'm coming to believe in the power of prayer, regardless of religious affiliation or belief.

I don't want to detail my situation, but I'd sure appreciate it if some of you could pray for me, just that everything work out the best possible way (I read that better results are obtained when the prayer is along the lines of "thy will be done" instead of specific requests)

I used to think that "thy will be done" was a given, and that therefore prayer had no function or meaning.

But I'm beginning to think otherwise.
